Health-E Newsletter February 2019

Welcome to our February 2019 edition of Health-E. In this month’s edition, we would like to focus on Vitality and how to achieve gold status.

Online Vitality Health Check

To boost your Vitality points, we recommend that you complete your online Vitality Health Check. To do this, simply follow these steps:

  • Go to and login with your Username and Password
  • Click on the ‘Vitality’ drop-down box
  • Click on ‘Track and earn points’
  • Scroll down and click on ‘Do your assessment’ under ‘Vitality Health Check’
  • Complete and submit

Screening tests

Another method of boosting your Vitality points is by having screening tests done at an accredited Vitality Wellness Centre, pharmacy, Discovery Store or at a Discovery Wellness Day. These tests will help identity possible health concerns and determine your risk for lifestyle-related chronic illness. These screening tests include blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, weight assessment and signing a non-smoker’s declaration. Remember, when you complete your Vitality Health Check, you can get up to 25% cash back if you have an activated HealthyFood or HealthyCare benefit. For more information on this, please see the attached Vitality Health Check brochure: Vitality_Health_Check

In addition to the screening tests, Vitality members can earn extra points depending on your age and gender by undergoing certain checks. These include:
