Financial planning as we know it did not exist 30 years ago. The transition from the job-for-life era to the age of disruption means that financial planning has been completely redefined. It is now a recognised and reputable profession pursued by finance, commerce and law graduates globally. Most of South Africa’s top universities offer both under-graduate and post-graduate degrees in financial planning. The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI), a South African Qualifications Authority, offers the Certified Financial Planner® certification which is the internationally recognised standard for financial planning professionals. In order to attract top quality young men and women to our profession, we have put together a job shadow programme for Grade 11 & 12 learners. This one-day programme will be run on Wednesday, 12 June and Thursday, 13 June 2019. Only 8 learners can be accommodated at each session, so booking is essential. If you are a Grade 11 or 12 learner and would like to enquire about this programme, kindly email your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org.
